You Against UV
It’s not just your skin you should be protecting. You need also to protect your eyes, one of the most vulnerable parts of your body.
The ultraviolet (or UV) carries most of the dangers of sunlight. The sun's UV rays are a clear and present danger when you're on the beach on a sunny day, but are also harmful in cloudy days or in snow because it reflects the light to your eyes.
If you are planning to spend time walking around in the city or in the beach, put some sunglasses on!
Why should you wear sunglasses?
- Eye fatigue
- Blurred vision
- Temporary blindness
Facts you probably didn’t know:
- 40% of UV exposure occurs when we are not in full sunlight
- 90% of skin cancer occurs on the face and neck
- 80% of eye conditions that affect people across the world are completely avoidable or curable
